Description:
On the 23rd of March on the Warsaw Hard Rock’s stage we will see the performance of Marek Piekarczyk. The artist will present the compositions from his new solo album titled "Źródło". The concert will be organized within the framework of Pepsi Rocks cycle.

Marek Piekarczyk is a vocalist, writer and music composer. He took part in recording and releasing 19 long plays, several singles and audio-video tapes both in Poland and abroad. With his band, TSA, he has performed at around 2400 concerts in Poland, USA, Canada, Belgium, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia, France, Finland, Austria, Lithuania, Byelorus, Ukraine and Germany. He cooperated with The Music Theatre in Gdynia and successfully played the role of Jesus in a rock opera titled "Jesus Christ Super Star". He performed with the music theatre in Poland and abroad (USA, Canada, Finland, Russia) over 100 times. In the year 2001 he joined the project “Dom Muzyki” which was supporting building Dom Muzyki dla Artystow Niepelnosprawnych (The House of Music for Handicapped Artists) near Minsk Mazowiecki. Together with other artists that joined the project he took part in several concerts and recorded two albums in favour of Dom Muzyki. Dom Muzyki is almost built. He has been playing regularly mainly with TSA for 8 years. In April 2004 they released the album titled "Proceder" which became the rock records bestseller of the year 2004. In March 2007 they released long play called „YUGOPOLIS” which contained 12 songs recorded with the leading Polish performers (among others: Kukiz, Malenczuk, Kobra, Staszczyk). The album gained the status of the Golden Record in the first day of its selling. In 2008 Marek Piekarczyk joined the project „Night Rider Symphony” which connects rock with the classical music. In November the same year, he performed with NRS – 100 hundred peopled chorus and Chicagoan orchestra – at the gala concert in Harris Theatre in Chicago. The event opened the 20th Polish Film Festival in America. At the 24th of October in 2009, Marek Piekarczyk released his solo album titled „Źródło”. The continuation of it were his performances with musicians from Olszyn, among others with the band „Big Day”.

23 marca na scenie warszawskiego Hard Rock Cafe wystąpi Marek Piekarczyk. Artysta zaprezentuje materiał z najnowszej solowej płyty pt. "Źródło". Koncert odbędzie się w ramach cyklu Pepsi Rocks. Marek Piekarczyk jest wokalistą, pisze również teksty i komponuje muzykę. Brał udział w nagraniu i wydaniu 19 płyt długogrających oraz wielu singli i kaset audio-video - w Polsce oraz poza jej granicami. Wraz z zespołem TSA wystąpił na ok. 2400 koncertach w Polsce, USA, Kanadzie, Belgii, Holandii, Czechach, Słowacji, Rosji, Francji, Finlandii, Austrii, Litwie, Białorusi, Ukrainie i Niemczech. Współpracował także z Teatrem Muzycznym w Gdyni, gdzie z powodzeniem zagrał rolę Jezusa w rock-operze "Jesus Christ Super Star ". Z Teatrem Muzycznym wystąpił w przeszło 100 spektaklach w Polsce i za granicą (USA, Kanada, Finlandia, Rosja). W 2001 roku przyłączył się do projektu "Dom Muzyki" wspierającego budowę Domu Muzyki dla Artystów Niepełnosprawnych koło Mińska Mazowieckiego. Razem z innymi artystami biorącymi udział w projekcie wziął udział w kilkunastu koncertach i w nagraniu dwóch płyt-cegiełek. Budowa Domu Muzyki jest na ukończeniu. Od ośmiu lat śpiewa głównie w zespole TSA, który regularnie koncertuje. Spotkanie na scenie wszystkich muzyków z pierwszego składu TSA zaowocowało bardzo dobrze przyjętymi koncertami i nagraniami. W kwietniu 2004 roku ukazało się nowe, premierowe wydawnictwo TSA pt. "Proceder". Była to najlepiej sprzedająca się płyta rockowa 2004 roku.
